Cannabis and Sleep

Sleep is essential for maintaining our mental and physical health, yet issues with sleep affect most adults at some point in their lives.


According to The American Sleep Association, 50 to 70 million U.S. adults experience symptoms of a sleep disorder. Around 40 million Americans experience insomnia every year and about 10 to15 percent of adults will deal with chronic insomnia.

Cannabis may be an effective sleep aid because medical research indicates that it can assist to restore a person’s natural sleep cycle, which so often falls out of sync with our schedules in today’s highly stressful and hectic modern lifestyles.
